Cookie Policy
This page is a starting template. Replace every [bracketed] field and have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before the site goes live.
Like most websites, PlayerRig uses cookies. This page explains what they are, which ones we use and how you can control them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember information between pages or visits, such as your cookie choices, and it lets partners measure audiences or show relevant ads.
The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choices. They don't need consent.
- Audience measurement: help us understand which pages are read and how people find us, so we can improve the site.
- Advertising: set by our ad partners to show ads, limit how often you see the same one and, if you agree, personalize them.
- Affiliate: set by retailers when you click an affiliate link, to credit the sale to PlayerRig.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pr_consent | PlayerRig | Stores your cookie choices | [6] months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Audience measurement | Up to 2 years |
| __gads, __gpi | Google AdSense | Ad delivery and frequency | Up to 13 months |
| [Retailer cookie] | [Affiliate partner] | Credits a sale to PlayerRig | [Set by the partner] |
This list is updated whenever we add or remove a partner.
Managing your choices
When you first visit PlayerRig, a banner lets you accept, refuse or manage non-essential cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and it doesn't block access to the site. You can change your mind at any time with the Manage cookies link in the footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking every cookie may stop some features from working properly.
Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. If you refuse advertising or measurement cookies, Google tags adjust their behavior and don't store those cookies on your device.
